In honor of Veteran’s Day on November 11th, here is the list of freebies & deals for all Active Duty Military & Veterans!
You will need to present a veteran ID card, military ID card, discharge document, or a driver’s license with a veteran designation to get these deals. Please note some of these are estimated discounts based on previous years. Some restaurants haven’t announced them yet. We will update as new offers are released. As always call before making a special trip!
Non-Restaurant Deals for Veterans for 2020:
B&B’s for Vets: Most of the inns are offering one free room night on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 so you can enjoy the local Veterans Day celebrations. Space is limited, so be sure to make your reservation as soon as possible.
Colonial Williamsburg: Colonial Williamsburg is offering FREE admission during Veterans Day weekend, Wednesday through Sunday, November 11-15, to all active duty Military, Reservists, Retirees, Veterans, National Guardsmen and their immediate dependents.
Great Clips: On Wednesday, November 11, retired and active service members can visit any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card. Additionally, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at a Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to a service member in thanks for their service. The free haircut cards can be redeemed through December 11, 2020.
Lowe’s: 10% off for Veteran’s – now valid all year long!
Meineke Car Care Centers: Free Basic Oil Change on Veteran’s Day at participating locations – need to call the local store to see if they are participating. **Not verified for 2020 but they have offered this in previous years.
National Parks: Free entrance on Veteran’s Day (includes entrance fee)
Publix: Veterans, active military personnel, and their families are invited to save 10% on groceries on Monday, November 11, 2020. You will need to present a veteran ID card, military ID card, discharge document, or a driver’s license with a veteran designation.
Sport Clips: On Veterans Day, November 11th, participating Sport Clips locations will provide free haircuts to veterans and active duty service members as well as donate $1 for every haircut service provided on that day. Click here to find a participating store near you.
Target: 10% off a single purchase with verification.
Restaurant Deals for Veterans for 2020:
7-Eleven: Active-duty, retired, veteran, guard, reservists and family members get a free coffee or Big Gulp on November 11. You need to download the 7-Eleven app and link a Veterans Advantage membership to your account to claim this offer.
54th Street Grill & Bar: Free entree up to $12 in value for Veterans Day 2019 for both vets and active-duty military. They’re also running a contest for a 54th Street Grill gift card if you post a photo to the restaurant’s Instagram with the hashtag “#54SUPPORTSVETS” through Nov. 12, 2020.
Applebee’s: Get a free meal, from a special menu.
Baker’s Square: All veterans and active duty service members receive a free meal on Veterans Day (Nov. 11).
Bob Evans: Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu on November 11, 2020. Dine-in only, beverage not included. Show proof of military service.
Bonanza Steakhouse: All former and current military servicemen and women enjoy a free buffet (beverage not included). Only at participating locations.
Bonefish Grill: 10% off their check all day, every day. In previous years they have offered free Bang Bang Shrimp on Veteran’s Day but this hasn’t been verified yet.
Boston Market: Free Brownie or Cookie with any purchase for all veterans, service members, and their families. No ID required.
Bruegger’s Bagels: Veterans and active military members may enjoy a free small coffee.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Veterans & Active Military Members will receive 5 Free Boneless Wings with choice of sauce and a free non-alcoholic beverage all day on Monday, November 11, 2020. Dine-in only. Military ID or proof of service required. Valid at participating locations.
California Pizza Kitchen: Free pizza, full-size salad, or pasta from the special Veterans Day Menu.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill: Get your free calamari with the purchase and a valid ID for active-duty military and Veteran at Carrabba’s on Veterans Day. They are also offering an ongoing 10 percent Heroes Discount for all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters, and first responders.
Charlie Browns Steakhouse: Free Lunch (11/11 11 am-3 pm)
Cheeseburger in Paradise: Receive a complimentary Veteran’s Burger with fries to veterans, active and retired military personnel on Veterans Day. Dine in only & you must purchase a beverage.
Chevys Fresh Mex: On Veterans Day, Chevys Fresh Mex will offer a complimentary menu item (from special menu) to all active and retired military personnel. Special Veterans Day menu includes fajitas, burritos, tacos and more.
Chicken Salad Chick: Veterans get a free Original Chick meal, which includes a chicken salad scoop or sandwich, side, pickle and cookie, with a drink.
Chili’s: Free meal from a special menu at most locations. The special menu includes Chili’s signature Chicken Crispers, Margarita Grilled Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Just Bacon Burger, Oldtimer with Cheese, Cajun Chicken Pasta, or a bowl of chili, soup or salad.
Chuck E. Cheese’s: Special offers for military families. ID required.
CiCi’s Pizza: Free buffet on Veterans Day, including pizza, salads, dessert, and more.
Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake when you visit Cracker Barrel this Veterans Day.
Denny’s: Active, inactive and retired military personnel get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam. **Not confirmed but they have offered this every year.
Famous Dave’s: All former and current military personnel will receive a free two meat Combo.
Fazoli’s: Veterans can get a free “Build Your Own Pasta Bowl” on Nov. 11.
Firebirds Grill: Free Meal at participating locations.
Fogo de Chao: Customers with military ID get 50% off food at Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouses on Memorial Day 2020, plus 10% off meals for up to three other guests.
Friendly’s: On Veterans Day, all former or active military personnel can receive a free All-American meal for lunch or dinner, which consists of the All-American Burger, served with a side of fries and a drink. The burger can be upgraded to a cheeseburger for free. Confirmed for 2020
Golden Corral: Their Military Appreciation Event will look a little different this year. Active or former military members who have served in the U.S. Military can pick up a promotional card during the month of November redeemable for a FREE “Thank You” Meal!
Grub Kitchen and Bar: Veterans, reserve, retired and active-duty military with valid ID or wearing their uniform can enjoy a free entree at Grub Kitchen and Bar. Grub restaurants also offer a 10 percent discount year-round for veterans and active-duty military personnel.
Hooters: Free Meal at participating locations.
Houlihan’s: Receive a free entree from a select menu on Veteran’s Day 11/11 with proof of veteran status or active service in the military.
Hy-Vee Free Breakfast: Many Hy-Vee stores celebrate Veterans Day each year by offering a free breakfast buffet to all veterans and active-duty military members as a way of thanking veterans and military members for their service.
IHOP: Free red, white, and blue pancakes with blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream on November 12th from 7 am to 7 pm.
Joe’s Crab Shack: On November 11th, all veterans can enjoy 20% off.
Ikea: Free entree for Veterans.
Krispy Kreme Free Doughnut & Coffee: Get 1 free donut and small coffee on Veterans Day.
Krystal: Krystal offers military and vets a free sausage biscuit from 6-10:30 AM. Available both to dine-in and drive-thru guests.
Little Caesars: Free $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo on Veterans Day.
Logan’s Roadhouse: On Monday, Nov. 11, Logan’s Roadhouse is inviting all active duty and retired U.S. military personnel to enjoy a free meal from of the American Roadhouse menu in honor of Veterans Day. This offer is available from 3-6 p.m. at all Logan’s Roadhouse restaurants nationwide on Nov. 11.
Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: On Veterans Day (Nov. 11), active and former military can enjoy a free Lucille’s Original Pulled Pork Sandwich and one side. Must show proof of service.
Mimi’s Cafe: Free entree with the purchase of any non-alcoholic drink at Mimi’s Cafe on Veteran’s Day, 11/11/19. Veteran’s can choose a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner entree from a select menu.
Mission BBQ: Veterans and active duty will receive a free sandwich and slice of cake n Veterans Day, 11/11/20.
O’Charley’s: Veterans can visit O’Charley’s on the day of Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, to get a free $10 meal.
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt: On November 11, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will be offering free frozen yogurt for all active and retired military at participating locations.
Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans Day menu.
Red Robin: Veterans and Active Military who are Red Robin Royalty members can redeem their FREE Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries any time between 11/12 and 11/30 for Dine-in or To-Go. The offer will be automatically uploaded to your dashboard.
Shoney’s Offers Free All-American Burger: Get a free All You Care To Eat breakfast, to all Veterans and Active Duty Military members on 11/11/20 from open – 11 am.
Texas Roadhouse: Things are different this year due to the pandemic and capacity restrictions. To celebrate Veterans Day, Texas Roadhouse will hand out dinner vouchers at our stores’ parking lots on Wednesday, November 11, from 11am – 2pm. We ask that all active, former, or retired military members please have their Military ID or proof of service when driving through to pick up their dinner voucher. Veterans and active military can redeem their dinner vouchers when they choose in-store until June of next year. Be sure to call your local Texas Roadhouse for details. We hope to see you here! Village Inn Free Breakfast: All veterans and active duty service members receive a free meal on Veterans Day (Nov. 11). Village Inn also offers a military discount of 10 percent off all year long.
White Castle: Receive a free breakfast combo or Castle Combo Meal #1 – #6.
Wild Wing Cafe: Veterans, come in and get 6 wings or nuggets in your favorite made from scratch sauce, with a purchase of a drink on Veterans Days. Participating locations only.
Yard House: Veterans and active-duty military will receive a complimentary appetizer on November 11 with valid military ID. Offer is valid for dine-in only.
