This year National Donut Day is on Friday, June 5, 2020.
This is one of the more established food holidays. It was established by the Salvation Army way back in 1938 to honor the Dough Lassies, female volunteers who made donuts for soldiers serving overseas as a way to boost morale. It was a successful effort and led soldiers to use the slogan “doughnuts will win the war!”

Krispy Kreme
In honor of National Doughnut Week, Krispy Kreme will be offering you a FREE Doughnut of Your Choice each and every single day from June 1st through June 5th! No coupon required, just stop into any store.
LaMar’s Donuts: Visit your local LaMar’s Donuts on Friday, June 7th, 2019 to get any donut that has a hole in it for free. There’s no purchase necessary.
Cumberland Farms: Between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on National Donut Day you can get a free donut from Cumberland Farms with purchase of any dispensed beverage. You’ll have your choice of jelly-filled, cocoa hazelnut filled, cookies and cream, blueberry, or a classic glazed donut.
Dunkin’ Donuts: Get a FREE classic Donut with the purchase of any beverage on Friday June 1st, 2018 . A regular small coffee shouldn’t set you back too much and you’ll get a free classic donut at any Dunkin’ Donuts location.
Walmart: Participating Walmart’s will be giving away free samples of Seattle’s Best coffee and donuts on June 7th, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Use the link to see if the Walmart near you is taking part.
Kwik Trip: Use the Kwik Trip app to get a free coupon that you can redeem for a cake donut, dunker, or glazer.
Duck Donuts: Head to your local Duck Donuts on National Donut Day, June 7, to enjoy a FREE classic donut!

Randy’s Donuts: Get 4 free donut rounds from 6:00 a.m. until noon on Friday while supplies last.
